SGGS offers a variety of German Research Resources, some of them limited to members and some of them available to the public at large.

SGGS has donated a large variety of German Reseach Resources to theLDS Family History Center in Sacramento.  This library is open to the general public.

SGGS will publish queries in Der Blumenbaum for SGGS members.  In addition, we offer a mentor service for research questions.  For members only.  We will NOT answer research questions at this web site.

More and more the World Wide Web is becoming the media where genealogical data is stored.  Not only have private individuals and family associations chosen to publish their family trees on the web, but business and other organizations have chosen to make available large genealogical databases online.  SGGS provides links to many of these sites.

Utilizing German Research Resources can often be an overwhelming task, especially since many of them are in a foreign language.  We will try to provide some tips on making the most of these resources.  This work is still being designed, so keep an eye in this area for more goodies.
